Everything fits as expected no issues. Great value for the price all pulleys come new with bolts. However after 1500 miles the belt shredded leaving me with a huge tow bill and bent valves.

I order this kit for a 1999 ZX2 escort, the belt and lower idler pulley are fine but the up idler isn't, there is a cut off date on this idler and it appears my idler is the old style which is big in diameter and has a larger cap screw. Dayco doesn't include a phone number to call and resolve the issue so I will go to the parts store and spend 40 dollars to get the right idler pulley and if its wrong at least I can take it back.They need to include the cut off date for this car when they change the idler.

First time timing belt install went well. I'd like to start with a disclaimer. I have never been trained as a mechanic but have always done all of my own automotive work and have a fairly high aptitude for it.This was my first timing belt install but had replaced the motor mount and valve cover gasket on this focus in the past so this was just digging a bit deeper this time. It went easily with the included instructions which are from an actual shop repair manual. Also good to reference youtube for some excellent vids on the subject. The parts seem to be of good quality and pricing was the best I could find anywhere. Be aware that for the zetec motor you will need T50 and T55 torx sockets to do the job.
