The seal for the balance shaft was slightly too large in outside diameter -- only a little bit, but enough that it would not fit. The hole for the tensioner for the timing belt that is used to prevent the tensioner from rotating was not in quite the right position. Like the seal, it was only a little bit wrong, but enough to make the part unusable. I did not handle any replacements through Amazon because I did not want to add a delay in getting the car running again, so I do not know if these problems occur always or if I got a bad kit. The application I used the kit on was a 1990 F22A4 engine.

I had nothing to lose but the cost of this kit. . Either i do this myself or junk it. No way i was going to pay someone $500-600 to tell me it had a bent valve or cylinder then junk it, So i watched a couple videos & rented a couple tools & dove into it. Now it runs like it allways did, and the kit is working good on my 96 accord for $27. Damn that pulley bolt from hell. Im good at timing but this was timing do or die.

If you have a F22a1 2.2 litre go buy something better nothing like doing a job twice the crankshaft seal failed within less than 100 miles the tensioner pulleys do not fit at all unless you choose to modify them as I didn't and reused the original koyos but that was not the failure point the belts are junk leave these inferior products on the Amazon shelves to collect the dust as the dust is more valuable than this poor excuse copycat that is a bad copy kit lesson learned hope this input helps your decisions.

Great replacement kit! Only problem I had was the guide pin hole for the tensioner closest to the block was too small. Had to drill the hole wider to make it work. Other then that, no issues!

While the kit included all parts required one of the tensioners (the one for the water pump belt)was poorly made and would not fit. I tried enlarging the hole that fits over the pin but decided to reuse the old tensioner. Kit was average or lower in quality.

Excellent. Was a huge pain in the ass putting the belts on (i have never done it before), but it was a great learning experience. Water pump went right on. No leaks. Tensioners dont whine. I havent checked on the belt since I put it on though.

Fixed Honda Accord water pump. I needed a water pump but this kit contained the water pump, plus belts, pullys, and O-rings all for less than i would have paid for just the Water pump at a parts store. I have ordered parts from ECCPP before and all the parts seem to be of fair - to good, quality. For the price you cant beat em. I will do business with them again in the future. If you can wait a few days for shipping than i would recommend you get your parts from ECCPP.
