This bathroom sink drain strainer is stainless steel and fits and drains well. The circumference looks smaller than it actually is. I was afraid it would fall down into my drain, but it fits perfectly. Compared to another bathroom sink drain strainer brand that I purchased, I like this one better. The bottom of the stainer has more surface for the water to drain. I also like that it doesn't cover my sink drain rim so it won't get a slimy build-up. I'm very pleased with it.

It's perfect. Nice brass with chrome finish construction. Just drop it into the drain opening and it's ready to go. Does it slow down the drainage of water? Yes, of course it does. The water must pass only through the little strain holes - that also trap hair and other things that should not enter your drain opening. Is that a big deal? Not if you can wait for several seconds. What about cleaning it? Just lift it out with your fingers, dump the contents in your waste basket, and drop it back into the drain opening. Easy-peasy all the way... and inexpensive, too! (Hint: measure your drain opening diameter BEFORE ordering.)

This is slightly smaller than my sing opening so it drops down. There is a pipe lip that catches it. Perfect. Doesn't fit snug. Easy to remove and clean. Water runs through it like it isn't there. I measured my sink opening as under but close to 1.25 inches.

Good quality stainless steel strainer with reasonable sized hole.Clear water flows through quickly.Easy to remove trap for cleaning using just fingers.The package gives slightly different dimensions than that stated on this webpage, specifically it's 1-1/16" outside diameter (not 1-1/32" as stated).The outside diameter of the flange is important to know, and not given on the package or webpage. I measured that as roughly 1-1/4" (maybe a bit less as I didn't pull too hard on the tape and did not want my fingers in the photo.It's sad that some folks give it a negative review just because their sink doesn't fit. Measure first and you will save yourself time and money.

I ordered this sink strainer basket along with another one which ended up being too big...Although very small looking, it fits perfectly...I took the advice of someone else's review and was able to use it "upside down" instead of inserting into the drain hole due to a minuscule lip/ledge inside the drain hole that it sits on top of.I really like this better because 1) I feel that it drains faster (especially since I don't have an overflow hole which I think helps liquids flow down faster)...2) It will make it easier to clean when all you need to do is take it off.When inserted into the drain hole, it wasn't as easy to remove because it fit so snuggly especially when it was wet...Even when I wiped it out with a paper towel to dry the moisture, I still had to pull it up "just the right way" to get it out.The other replacement strainer I purchased made by the same company, has a post in the middle of it so you can easily remove it out the drain...However, I didn't pay attention to the measurements (should have had on my reading glasses) and it's too big...Hope this helps!

Even with a low flow faucet, this drain so slowly that there is always a back up of water in the sink basin while the water is running.

Fits my sink perfectly and looks really elegant compared to most options. I like that it sits flush inside the drain and doesn't rust the metal ring around the drain. Its made of thick metal and sells really durable. My only issue is that it drains a bit slow. It's definitely not as bad as some other models I've tried, but still slower than I'd like, especially after a few weeks of soap scum started to plug the holes a bit. I ended up switching to one with a very fine mesh, but I'll keep this as a backup.

Good fit flows well and easy to clean. It does what it should. I bought 3.With a vernier caliper mine measure 1.08" under the lip.

Fits perfectly. Used in the bathroom sink, does not gunk up with soap or tooth paste. Excellent value for your money.I bought 2 and am very happy with my purchase. It replaces the missing sink plug.
