This Danco Tailpiece for InSinkErator Disposal can be used to replace a leaking or damaged tailpiece or for a new installation. The tube has 1-1/2 in. outer diameter with 8 in. length. This tailpiece fits most InSinkErator models.

The pipe that was supplied with the unit was just a little too short. It would occasionally get bumped out of where it was secured at the bottom, and everything would go to the floor instead of down the drain. This one gives another couple of inches so that there’s no way that that’ll happen again

works great - we needed a couple inches to reach the P trap - this did the trick without adding another joint and section of pipe

I installed a new sink & countertop, but reused the existing disposal unit. I saw that the original 90° drain elbow had been cut off right in the radius, and I was unable to seal the drain downpipe on that curve. I bought this elbow, cut it to a corrected length, plumbed up, and it works perfectly with no leaks! Good item at a modest price.

After writing an email four days after ordering and inquiring why it hasnt even been shipped.....got a,response that afternoon and said in mail. This is exhasut pipe of new garbage disposal and the shipping set me back 10 days before finishing.

This piece was actually a bit shorter in both dimensions than what I needed, but that wasn't the fault of the manufacturer. It seems well-constructed and should suffice for most people.
