As a beginner, my fingers were getting sore playing standard medium guage strings. So, I installed these and they are much easier to play while I build my skills and fingertip callouses.

Taylor Guitars sent out an email to Taylor owners changing their recommended brand of strings to D'Addario Guitar Strings. It was time to change strings so I got these. I wanted the lightest possible strings so I got these 9s. They sound good. Taylors are a bright guitar and these strings sound bright as well. So far so good.

Nunca tinha utilizado cordas 0,12. Eu sempre usei cordas 0,10 e algumas vezes 0,11 e mano a diferença é gritante! Quem quer fazer solos no violão, cordas 0,10. Quem tem foco em acordes, cordas 0,12.

These are medium light strings. The sound quality is very vibrant! This is mostly suitable for intermediate or pro players! This is because as the strings are not extra thin, it will be a bit hard to press and will cause sores on fingertips! (Though they go after a time, but still for beginners, i ll recommend extra light or extra thin strings)

I like the price and the durability. I find these strings ideal for playing melodies and light chords. For heavy strumming I would probably go for a heavy gauge, but I don't do that anymore.Given the Mumbai climate, there is occasional rusting on some guitars which I sparingly use. On the guitars with regular use, things are pretty good.I like this gauge because there are no colloused fingers. Of course, that may be a function of the brand of the guitar as well as the setting of the truss rod of the guitar.I find these strings pretty OK for bending. I am not a professional. Some professionals playing gigs at restaurants had different views about these strings. Some were neutral, some said these are overrated. However, I haven't found any other strings which offer the value for money as these ones do. The pro strings that the pros rev about cost three times as much.If you have never used these ones, I recommend you at least try them. In the Guitar Review magazine I had read about D'Addario's string technology which quite impressed me. So I tried and this is the brand I have used the most so far.

I was looking for a set of strings to match my electric guitar. so I could bend and play the same way on both guitarsthese are great!!! it is a problem that we have to order them direct from china but if you get 5-6 sets at a time your ok.I have had mine on for over a year with no problems! 2 step bands - no problems!

Great strings, but you can't get them in the U.S. Talked to one of the company reps and he basically said they already offered the bronze strings in other sizes here and they didn't want to confuse the market. Go figure. I indicated that more choices for the consumer was never a bad idea.
