Everything was good , as a beginner, I wish the strings were labeled and a description of the three different types of strings. And directions on stringing guitar.

For the price you get a capo ($5), some spare strings ($8), and some good picks ($3). everything else is meh.The capo is ok but won't go onto my guitar past the 6th fret. But it normally only goes on the 3rd fret so that is fine for now. I would say the capo is mostly for electric and not acoustic guitars. The silicone finger covers are useless. The finger picks don't fit but I think I can fix that with heat. The speed tuner hits the peg puller. Don't put stickers on your guitar! The normal picks are pretty good. The pick holder is a nice touch. The bridges, nuts, and pegs are ok. The strings are light.

This kit has just about everything you'll need to get started with an acoustic guitar. There are extra pins, nuts and saddles. There are three sets of strings, and those are always necessary. Are they good strings? Not sure. But strung up an old acoustic with one of the sets and so far they seem okay. There is a string winder and pin puller combined with a blunt string cutter. Always necessary. And there is an assortment of picks and finger picks. The capo is good enough for using as to change keys, and I also use it to protect the nut when stretching new strings. Finally, there are not markers for the fingerboard. I honestly never used them to learn the fingerboard and wonder at their utility. But I do know that some students use them. So, this is a nice package of stuff to get started with you acoustic guitar.

I am rating this set at 4 stars because it is what you should expect, perhaps a bit better, when you are buying a set of all these accessories on AZ for $17.99 (at the time of writing). At that price, nobody should be expecting these to be top-of-the-line guitar accessories. But for our household with a few very unpracticed beginners, these work just fine - for now. And will suffice as a kind of "emergency backup set" in cases of broken pins, snapped strings, etc. until it warrants a visit to the music store or purchasing higher-end stuff on AZ.I can't really knock this set for quality, because it's priced appropriately. Perhaps not a huge bargain, but definitely a fair price or a little bit of a bargain. The pins and bridge are basic plastic, not ebony or bone or something else. So fine as backups for beginners who haven't quite figured out how long or seriously they'll play. I don't expect them to help the sound like higher-quality items would. The picks are definitely thin-quage, and even a smidge flimsy for thin-guage picks. But not too bad for this price. The little pick holder is nice, but we won't be sticking that on our guitars. Probably on the music stand. The capo and combo changing tool are sufficient, but definitely not what I'd call high quality. We already have a nice-quality capo that was thrown in with one of the guitars, so I likely won't be using this one. It's lighter plastic and the joint/hinge is a little stiff. We will use the combo tool, but again it's not high-end. It's sufficient.I can't tell you if the strings sound decent or not, and I'm not unstringing/restringing guitars to figure that out. They do feel okay...as smooth and springy as needed. My main complaint about this very low-priced combo set of accessories is that the finger picks and silicone finger protectors are very small...like pre-teen/teen or small adult hands. They don't fit on my fingers, and are laughably small.I'm not a serious musician, but this is an okay "hey, we have it just in case" emergency set for the folks in the house who are beginner guitar dabblers. If you set your expectations to the low price you're paying, this set meets those expectations.

I am very happy with this kit and it works very well. The accessories are of excellent quality, especially the new strings and batteries, the sound quality has become noticeably clearer and fuller. It is also very convenient to match, which improves the practice and playing experience. Highly recommended!
