I purchased these to replace my Martin Lifespan 2.0, they seem more lively than the coated strings on my Vintage Martin D-18. These are a great value with high quality sound.

I play a lot of bluegrass and gospel in open acoustic 5 piece settings using a Martin HD-28. I have been using JP phos/bronze for years and love them. Longevity is not fantastic but sound quality and play-ability are excellent. Highly recommend them in my application.

I love these strings! They sound great on my Taylor and feel good to play. They have a wonderfully warm tone and give me some sweet highs and full bass tones. They feel a bit more supple than strings I've played before (Martin and D'Addario usually) and changing them is a breeze. The strings also retain their brightness for quite a while so I do feel I don't change my strings as often.

John Pearse strings sound better on my Taylor and my Martin than almost any others. They last longer and sound better after many, many hours of playing than any of the competitors. And, the price per value is terrific. Highly recommended.
