Was on the edge for a realy good Air pistol. Looked at all the hype about PCP. Big money for those guys. An for me way too much equiptment to run them. Break barrels wear you out after a while. Crossman been in the buisness since 1924. An american Tradition.Yes you can build your own custom shop pistol. But after you add The LPA MIM rear sight, adjustable trigger spring assembly, Steel breach and bolt and the 10.1 in barrel you will have paid the price of this 2300T and then some. Dont forget your labor! Looks like Amazon aquiered the last of the custom shop pistols. The shop is closed for now and everyone is out of stock or wants much more money for them, dont forget to add the other guys shipping. This little bayby with a little adjustment of sights. Shoots 1.0 in. groups right out of box at 25 feet. Biggest range I can set up indoors. I understand they get better as you shoot them. Crossman Premire 7.4 gn wadcutters do great 1.0 groups of hand shooting, But Meisterkugeln RWS 8.2 match wadcutters tighten the group to 1/2 in jagged hole. Make no mistake 2300T got to be the best buy in CO2 air pistols out there. Get plenty of C02 cyls and for me the hell with PCP high dollar pumping. Gets about 50 rounds of accurate shots per cyl. Can get much more shots but the groups start stringing vertical. Ton of extras can be added. A brease to work on.

Very happy with this little pistol. Mine arrived without the canted sight. After mounting and adjusting the rear sight, accuracy at 50 ft. is all I could hope for. I use it to practice in the backyard without going to the range and consuming scarce ammo in my 'real' firearms. The steel breech is a quality touch and helps balance the pistol. Trigger is a bit heavy, has some creep, and also a 'notch' just before letoff. I've gotten used to it and use the 'notch' to advantage. I haven't tried tuning or adjusting the trigger as yet.I have a three other Crosman CO2 handguns; all are similar in design. They seem to hit harder than the 2300T, but in them the CO2 cartridge is all done between 40 and 50 shots. In my softer-shooting 2300T, a CO2 cartridge is still going strong at over 80 shots. I didn't determine the maximum shot count per cartridge, but I'd estimate its around 100 shots or more. I got tired pulling the trigger. For target practice, the 2300T is ideal. If game is the goal, look for something with a higher muzzle velocity.

This item is packaged for delivery, not retail sale which is fine with me as it must have resulted in the lower price. This is an entry level CO2 target pistol. It provides an excellent training platform for shooters to refine their shooting skill with no recoil or loud report before moving up to a similar .22 pistol like the Ruger Mark II or III series. Accurate right out of the box. I expected to have to zero it before it would shoot accurately. At 33 ft first shot just out of the bull ring, second shot dead on accurate.

I bought the Crosman 2300T as a way to inexpensively practice marksmanship fundamentals at home. Compared with lower end Crosmans, the 2300T is nicer in that it already comes with the long steel breach. The rear sight is easily adjustable for windage and elevation. The front sight needs improvement. It is plastic, too shiny, and mine came skewed to the side. I was able to fix that part by gripping it with some slip joint pliers and rotating it. However, I wound up making a replacement front sight and base out of aluminum, which also added a little weight to the muzzle. The trigger is adjustable down to a decent weight, but still has some creep.Accuracy is good with RWS Meisterkugeln pellets. This is a good pistol for short range target practice.

I got this to see if liked 10 meter air pistol target shooting. It's okay and pretty accurate. Here are my comments:1. Front sight was loose and had to be glued in place.2. CO2 cartridges gave me over 60 shots in one go but would always leak out by the next day. I lubricated the end of the CO2 cylinder every time as directed.3 Grip is a bit small for an adult. That said, this is a good starter gun for the money and a good plinker. I bought a Daisy Avanti used from a friend and the Avanti is a much more accurate and better gun for very little more money if you want to shoot competition.

This gun is very solid. Nothing about it feels cheap, with the exception, maybe of the grips. Everything works beautifully and the metal work is beautiful. The trigger comes set pretty heavily, but there is a tensioner for the trigger spring. Remember to adjust the trigger tension under the grip, then the trigger feels great. At about 8 meters, free standing, I can easily get a 2 inch group, and that is with cheapo pellets that have all sorts of defects in them. The only issue I had, which may just be a fluke on this particular gun, was it shot consistently very high. With the rear sight set all the way down, it still shoots about 2 to 3 inches high at 8 meters. I had to modify the rear sight to correct it.I like it so much, I just ordered another one for my girlfriend.
