Purchased a new iPhone XR from cricket wireless.com at an amazing too good to be true prove! and the Sim card was for 5G and we don’t have 5G in our area so I needed to purchase another Sim card. Which I did - and the Sim card works fine , it was great for about two months and then all of a sudden I couldn’t make any phone calls and I called cricket wireless and they said the phone was on the blacklist and reported stolen and they could not re-start the service. (Which it turns out nobody can. ) I called Apple and told them I have the receipt and the phone can it be removed from the stolen list or please report it as recovered?? But they said they could not help me. And Cricket wireless wouldn’t give me a refund. So I had to dispute the phone charge on my credit card. Waiting to hear back from that. But the phone was never out of my sight and I never reported it stolen - so I purchased a $400 phone and couldn’t use it. So hopefully the credit card company will refund me my money. I will never use any cricket wireless service again.

I bought a boxed Cricket Moto G6 Forge with the intention to upgrade my old Moto E2. However, I discovered too late that the G6 SIM slot only accepts NANO SIMs, while my Moto E2 uses a Micro SIM, which cannot be split into a smaller nano card. The Cricket agent I chatted with told me I would have to replace the old SIM with the universal kit (her at Amazon called "Cricket Wireless 3-in-1 SIM Kit ") to do the upgrade.I went to Cricket's site, but it didn't allow me to purchase the universal sim kit without adding a plan, and all I wanted was to be able to upgrade to the new phone. Which was odd, since the site says that "If your SIM card is lost or damaged or you want to switch to another device that uses a different size SIM card, you can quickly order one online. Simply log in to My Account and select get a new SIM card."Unfortunately that information is woefully outdated. When I clicked the link next to my old Moto E in the "Plans & Services" section, it said "We can't replace SIMs online." Which is kind of a bother since there are no physical Cricket stores in Puerto Rico, where I currently live. Actually, you can't even find neither Cricket phones nor BYOP cards at the local Walmarts here, which is extremely odd.So, fast forward to another chat, and the agent told me I could order the kit from Amazon, which came in three sizes and thus could use it to move from the old phone to the newer one. Once the kit arrived by mail, I chatted with Cricket again. They suggested at first to use the automated system at their site. However, because of my earlier experience (where the automated system only processed NEW accounts with NEW plans, not phone upgrades), and not wanting to waste any more time jumping through hoops, I insisted I preferred that the agent walked me though the process. After 5-10 more minutes, the upgrade was complete. So, it was a long wait, but I'm fully satisfied not only with the kit but with Cricket's customer service.

It did not say it had to be set up on a USA based server in order for use.Bought to use in Central America with iPhone and it was cheap but poorly informed about how to set it up before paying for it. $15 rush order on it made it a $22 wasted purchase. But gratefully Amazon is the king of online sales .... created my account with $4.99. Shipping was my cost. I would say, if you have a question, phone! Before purchasing!

Switched over from a regular at&t account to cricket that we were paying about 150.00 for two phones per month. The switch from at&t was seamless and took maybe ten minutes on the phone with their support. Their customer service is easily by far among the best and most knowledgable that I have EVER had the pleasure of dealing with. There's some costs associated with other methods of activation but the phone activation was free for us when we lit these sims up, so try the phone activation first. I was pleasantly surprised at how smoothly it went.We went from about 150.00 for two phones to 100.00 for 4 phones per month. It was so cheap that I decided to migrate our old landline to cricket and got a fourth line with them just casue we could and it was only ten bucks a month. It's one of those experiences where you don't mind paying the provider of the service every month because their support is great and they deliver value for the money you pay and do it all at such a fair reasonable cost - especially in comparison to what we were paying previously with at&t.Couldn't be happier.

Purchased for four dollars, this was just what I needed to activate my unlocked Sony Xperia XZ1 smartphone on the Cricket Wireless network. The kit is the same one that Cricket would send to you if you purchased a phone from them or ordered service with a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) phone.Inside the activation, the kit is the SIM card that you will need to put into your phone. Be sure to check first with Cricket to make sure your phone will work on the network, and if you're going to be porting your existing number to Cricket - don't cancel service on your other phone before doing so. (I switched from Virgin Mobile to Cricket and needed my account number and security code to complete the transfer.)If you get a new number from Cricket or if you use your old number it's still a fairly easy process. You can do all the activation online as long as you don't run into problems putting the SIM into the phone. If so, you may need to take this kit and the phone to a local Cricket dealer to get yourself started.
