No dislike on these yet, they are hardened steel from everything I seen use a good grease when installing, mine didn't need any shims for my application. Reverse and normal drive have been used.

I needed these reverse gears to use with my multi-axle rig. It worked perfectly for what I needed it for. I needed the diff gear for the last axle to spin in the opposite direction in order to have all wheels moving in the same direction.

These are good replacement for stock gears. They seem to mesh up well in the housing and I like the fact that they include shims to tighten up gear slop. There are 2 things I would have changed to make this a 5 star rating #1 would be to make it a 6 bolt locker. The ring gear is keyed to the locker but I would prefer there to be 6 bolts vp style. #2 gear tooth depth. The ring gear teeth feel thin. Hardened or not I would have preferred a bit more engagement. Otherwise they should be a fine set of gears
