I bought this for my 3 year old who loves all things construction. The tire broke off the same day we got it. Not sturdy enough for young ones to play with.

It faired well up to my toddler standards. However, it did break. The top popped off from the bottom, could be glued but didn't bother. The durability I say is good.

This is the little excavator that could! The motorized (?) wheels keep it moving for a good long distance, even rolling over small obstacles. My daughter (3 yrs) loves this thing. She particularly likes running over mommy's toes 😂

If you have a child who is all about excavators and construction vehicles this gift is a great one for him or her! So far, it’s held up with daily use of playing, dropping, digging in dirt etc. It’s durable and sturdy enough for a typical 2 year old child to play with. It’s also the perfect size for tiny hands. Not too big and not too small. I also like that it has the propelled rolling feature (not sure the correct term) but when you push it forward it continues rolling. If you’re searching for a excavator gift, I’d highly recommend this one! I got this one and one of the really big CAT ones. This one is definitely better for everyday use since it’s easy to bring along. I especially like the price point of this one. If it gets lost I can easily replace it without it costing me an arm & a leg.
