We use this as a monthly calendar and wipe it down with water frequently. I waited to write this review to see how it held up under those conditions. Its great. You do need to buy chalk markers, regular chalk wont work well on the surface.

This product is amazing! Magnets stick to really well and it’s highly durable. I have a 2.5 year old who uses this daily and can be a little rough, but it holds up well! Chalk glides on the surface with ease and just as easily can be erased. I love the wooden boarder around the chalkboard itself which adds to the look of our playroom. Highly recommend!

The Good: Very nice magnetic chalk board. I hung it in my office at work to display current hot topic issues. Easy to install and they provide options as how you may wish to hang it. I have a lot of strong magnets (discs) which work great with this.The Bad: The brackets they provide work very well, but they throw in 2 eyelet screws and a shoestring for those who want to hang off of a string. It gets the job done, but the eyelets and string seem 'cheap'.Overall: I'm very happy with it. I'm using the brackets but if you want to hang it the other way I would buy better eyelets and a wire. It really stands out and when paired with liquid chalk pens it will really stand out. I can use the magnets to keep track of 'active' and 'offline' status of key equipment. Recommend!!
