UPDATE: Reached out to the company and they offered me a 30% refund if I want to keep the product or they are willing for me to send it back for a new one. As I understand it was damaged by UPS, it is very nice that they were understanding to help fix the shipping companys mistake. (Initial review: Its a very nice board but mine arrived extremely damaged. I had a bad feeling when I saw all the dents and rips on the box. Not sure if using a handheld steamer would repair the dent, but I was pretty dissapointed. Product overall besides being damaged seems great.)

Purchased for my granddaughter and she loves it. Uses it every day. However, she moved ONCE and the frame came apart. I guess if you never move it, you’re good.

Smooth to write on with perfect black contrast to chalk. Easy to install. Hint: always use Prang chalk. Yes, it crumbles easily, but the writing is smooth and bright.

Sturdy but lightweight. Well crafted item. I’m using regular chalk which writes perfectly on it. Feels just like old fashioned slate chalkboard but at a fraction of the weight and price! Yes, it’s magnetic and regular fridge magnets work so u can use it as a bulletin board as well. A+!!!

Sturdy and good quality because it will be outside (it will have a little roof over it to protect it from rain.) Good, smooth board -- will get a good eraser for it, and it washes clean with warm water. Good value, good product.

Very nice board standard chalk works perfect .. I know its old school but it's setup in a horse facility that in winter time chalk works better than dry erase liquid markers..You can use magnets on them too .. its great and well worth the price..Great size too

We debated about wether to choose a large whiteboard or a large chalkboard for our dining room/homeschooling space. I ultimately decided on a chalk board because I think it looks nicer when it’s not being used for school.I am glad we purchased this one!
