This Columbia hat is perfect for for hot summer days. It's thick enough to effectively block the sun but breathable so you're not sweating like crazy underneath. I expected this hat to give off more outdoorsy adventurer vibes but it would fit right in as posh resort wear or for lounging at the pool or beach. Major bonus points for the adjustable strings for the perfect fit and to hold the hat in place on windy days. I love that it is crushable for travel! This will definitely be my go-to sun hat for beach trips from now on. If you're not sure about color I highly recommend the white. It really is so chic and goes with everything!

I am in love with this hat. It is true to size, I ordered the large and it fits perfectly. The chin strap stays put, the little holder is leather, so it has some grab and doesn’t loosen up on its own. I plan to take it with me on a trip and was delighted to see that I can scrunch it up to pack and it bounces back into shape. The brim is just right for helping to keep the sun out of my eyes. I ordered the straw color, because I wanted it to be neutral to go with anything I am wearing. The perfect addition to my travel wardrobe!

Columbia Women's Global Adventure Packable Hat III, Small/Medium, Alpenglow (ASIN : B0D524C9BK) The listing didn't have the full sizing info on it when I ordered, only showing the One Size sizing. I had to look at listings for the previous version II, and hope for the best. Those said : Small-Medium 6.6 -7 21 - 22I ordered the Small/Medium because my head measure 21.5 inches. It fits well, with a little slack, so I'd say the sizing is true, and S/M will fit up to 22". The interior hat band is soft. It has a big tag in the interior back, which could be a little irritating, but I don't see an easy way to remove it without damaging the hat band. The chin strap is a little stiff, and it pulls the brim down slightly at the sides a little when I tighten it. The material rolls and folds easily, then springs back to shape. I love the Alpenglow pink color - I usually order the boring beige or brown hiking hats. The wide brim gives good face and neck coverage, and the paper and polyester fabric is very lightweight. Overall, a nice packable hat.

This is a well made hat. I like the large brim - it's great for wearing to protect from the sun while hiking or fishing. The style is really cute. I love the color - I got the green and it's very nice. The hat fits well and it has a chin strap that you can tighten to hold the hat on your head if it's windy. The only thing I don't care for is the thread used to sew the hat is somewhat sparkly, so in the sun, the hat gives off a bit of a sheen. This hat is definitely packable - I can squish it into a backpack or duffel and it comes out in perfect shape. About the size - I tried to figure out the best size to pick but in the end I believe there may only be one size. I got the "S" and it fits fine - I have a small head and it's a slight bit big but not too bad. The strap will hold it on and also I can wear it over my ponytail if I want.

My new favorite beach hat. I ordered the blue and the color is lovely, perfection. Ordered the Large/XL, normally wear a 7 1/2. This size is perfect to allow room for a braid or bun. What I love most is the hat is deep enough to fit a bun and still stay on my head. Great sun coverage. Material says paper so I’m going to be super careful to keep it dry. It seems sturdy and is a great addition to that says beachy chic!
