I got this hat to use when I am hiking especially for when I am in windy areas and need something that will stay on during my adventures. Overall this is a pretty good hat, it is relatively comfortable and it fits my head well. For reference I often run into the issue with hats that they are too big for my head, so if you have a larger head you might want to consider a larger style of hat. It is adjustable though so you can make it a little bigger or smaller and still have a comfortable hat.Some things I really like with the hat:- it folds up nicely and into a compact bundle- The fabric for the chin strap cord is soft and comfortable on my skin. It is rounded instead of flat so there are no edges that scratch you.- The chin strap keeper is smoothed out so it doesn’t scratch your neck.- It has a ponytail hole that is pretty well situated.- Despite how the pictures might make it look it doesnt look weird and crumpled when you wear it and fit pretty closely to your head.- The fabric is waterproof even after washing and drying on a delicates setting.- The hat does a great job of blocking out the sun.- The hat has a good amount of stretch and is stitched together securely.Some things that could be improved:- the clip on parts to hold the chin strap can rub against your head and create slight pressure points when the strap is tight.- The bill of the hat is really hard to form into any shape it just wants to lie flat.- The bill is just a little bit shorter than I would have wanted for protecting the lower part of my face.- The clip on the adjustment strap is really hard to open up.- The tag is made out of rough uncomfortable material. You only really notice it when you are putting on or taking off the hat because it can be scratchy. It is meant to be cut off, but a part of it is stitched into the sweat band where it attaches to the hat, making it impossible to remove entirely.This is a genuinely good hat that is worth the cost. It feels like it will hold up through a lot of adventures whether that is where I tested it on windy mountain tops, or in streams, lakes, rivers, and out on the ocean. I would like to own this design in a variety of colors someday.

This is a nice hat because it seems like it's going to be very water resistant. I do like the straps so that if you are like hiking or something like that, you can be assured that if the wind blows that it won't come off of your head. The material was different. It's more like a windbreaker type material and I've never had a hat like this before. As far as sizing goes, I feel like it's an adequate average size hat. The composition of the hat is good so we'll see if it holds up very well on our tropical vacation that we have coming up soon.
