These are fun things to have while having a camp fire. The colors aren't the brightest, you need to have it quite hot, and the packet is made of plastic so its not the most environmentally friendly, but is fun when you aren't cooking above the flame

PRO's:• Works as described to create colored flames. (They are more visible when it's darkest out)• They do last "up to" 1 hour. I have not had any last over an hour.CON's:• Don't cook over the fire when these are burning. This includes marshmallows.

I thought this was awesome and so do my kids. we add it to our fireplace fire. it change it to different color when added it last a decent amount of time

I had to read the low star reviews to see why and I just shook my head. NO PEOPLE. Do Not Just Throw The Whole Bag In The Fire!! You are supposed to dump the entire contents of the bag unto the fire and throw that bag in the garbage!!!😅 Also, as for using it indoors, they mean for an open place fire. Like the ones you would have at a nice cottage or a rich person's house! ... Again, I am laughing... 😅Anyways, with that said, I have used these in my indoor woodstove (with a glass front) and outside in my firepit and they worked great! For the first 10 to 20 minutes is where you'll notice the most vibrant colours, after that, it starts to wean off but you will see a rainbow of colours for a full hour. So, the next time I have a crowd for a party or want to do something themed for Halloween, I will use these and spread them every 20 minutes.All in all, they worked great! You just have to make sure you use the right amount based on the size of fire you have and how hot the coals are.Thank you for reading my review! 🙏

These work pretty well in our outdoor fireplace and fire table. The colors are not nearly as vivid as the product pictures depict. I'm not sure the value or novelty is there to get again, but it did work.

These are so magical , such a beautifully mystical vibe . The colors are lovely & obvious , not difficult to see at all . My little ones were full of oooohs & aaaaahs , entirely mesmerized . I don't think 1 pack burns for an entire hour though , which might have this easily & quickly get pricey .

These “Color Flame Packets - Safe for Indoor & Outdoor Use - 1 Hour Burn for Campfires, Fireplaces, Firepits - No Need to Open Just Drop in - Perfect for Christmas, Birthdays (Multi, 30)” are quite interesting, and definitely add some “wow” factors to any fire. Please make sure you read the instructions, you are not supposed to open the individual packets, you are supposed to just put the whole packet into the fire. Initially, it may not seem to do anything, but give it a while, your fire will be popping out various different colors that generally you just won’t see in a regular fire. The product listing said that each packet will burn for “1 hour”, don’t expect that; if you want an hour of “colorful” fire & frame show, please prepare to drop in more than 1 packet. It does burn for a while, but not an hour. This is good for fireplaces inside the homes, fire pits in your backyards, or campfires at camping, any wood burning fires; but I wouldn’t use it on a gas fireplace or fire pit. All in all, this is fun, but not cheap. $30 for 3 bags of 10 packets each, for a total of 30 packets.Thank you for reading this review, I hope that this review & the pictures are helpful to you in support of your purchase decision.
