This is a case of "you get what you pay for". This is built to a price point. It is complete and mostly a bolt on affair, however, this fit and finish of this shows its sub 100 dollar price point. I needed to do a little bit of deburr work prior to installing. The welds look decent and I do not see any pinholes, cracks or major issues.

Cant complain the tube is tube shaped and the filter i assume filters its not a name brand filter so i wouldnt say its as good as stock but makes for a cheap efficent upgrade and then after the filter it comes with clogs up you already have the pipe and can just get a higher quality filter

Very good quality took me maybe 10 mins max to install I am a real person and it looks good in my truck had to cut the sensor hole a bit and of course cleaned it out with brake clean anyways to make long story short if you want a good cheap pipe with slight modifications people where saying you can see though the filter just check if there is rubber like use the brain god give us and look the filter is good it is held together very good thank you for offering a good air filter for a 6.0

Not designed very well. The masflow sensor should be 180 degrees up and the pcv port is to far down to connect without crimping the hose even with the attachments the mounting bracket interferes with the sensor installation and doesn’t line up well with the grommets but if you can manage to fit it in it dose work as advertised.

Fit no problem for me. Like the other review said, I had to notch the square section of the MAF mount hole (20 seconds with a die grinder) and had to use longer screws to mount it. I’d definitely recommend it if you are capable of doing a quick little notch out.

UPDATE: This doesn't fit trucks with a MAF and the devil is in the details. First, it does fit in the truck and the filter is a good size. I added some pictures of the parts. The hole for the Mass Air Flow (MAF) meter was bored but not sanded before being painted. For a Cold Air Intake going straight to a turbine, having a rim of fine metal is a bad idea (third picture). I filed those down. Some 6.0L engines were built without MAFs and for those, the MAF port on the intake can be closed with an included piece of billet aluminum painted red (top right first picture). However for every other truck with a MAF, the bracket gets in the way and the MAF can't even settle into the keyed hole (fourth picture). So I cut off a chunk and filed it down (twice, sixth picture). Then I had to get the dremel out and mill off excess paint where the keyed area (square part of inlet (fifth picture). The provided screws were too small, but the original screws on the old intake worked great. Attaching the air vacuum hose would have been okay using the added part but I never got that far. The kit provides a brace for this intake that fits into one of the holes for the original air intake system. BUT again, it overlaps the MAF and I would have had to fashion about an inch and a half standoff so the support bracket could clear the MAF which in turn would have jammed the air filter into the radiator. So I put it all back in its box and installed my old air intake system. So NO, this is not a good part. The lack of instructions are important, because if the manufacturer had produced some pictures, the graphic artist would have noticed that it can't possibly fit.original review: Paint fit and finish is great and the filter is a really good size... likely more real estate on the filter than my existing Spectre filter. I need to get into my engine to see how to get it all together, but it looks pretty simple for now... just gotta hope the last guy working on the air intake left me enough parts to work with. Overall, though, it is a pretty good set. I do wish there were some kind of video's or parts layout for installation. Then again... it is only an air intake... what could go wrong?

I purchased this intake with the understanding that the quality would be sub-par, I was already planning to modify it to meet my needs so I reasoned that all I needed was the hard pipe. I should have just fabricated it from scratch for all the trouble it has been to make this one work. Here's a list of the quality issues I've encountered so far:-pre-cross threaded MAF bolts-machining debris ready to be ingested into the turbo inlet-Pipe bracket welded too close to the MAF sensor plate, making it impossible to install without modification-MAF bolts supplied too short to use-Mounting bracket bolt also too short to use-The supplied filter is genuinely terrible, you can see right through the pleating-the aluminum pipe does not have a rolled lip on either endI know someone reading this is going to be thinking "well you should have expected that, you get what you pay for after all" and that was my expectation, but this intake has been of such low quality it's been more trouble than it's worth to make it work. I would not recommend this to anyone who's not prepared to do extensive additional work to make a half decent intake out of it, if you don't have fabrication tools or experience you're gonna have a bad time. Truly impressed with how terrible it was.
