The rubber spacer that came with it was the wrong size and VERY flimsy, unusable. The pipe was bent in a direction that put it directly against the positive terminal of the battery. I had to cut the original hose on the truck in half and attach it that way. This directed it away from the battery, lined up the intake in the spot shown in the photo, and allowed for a good connection to the intake manifold. Good price but will require modifications, will not install out of the box.

The product was fine except for the damage that must have happened during shipping, the box looked like it had been chewed up and spit out. parts inside did not look much better.

It sits on the battery and does not allow the hood to close. This kit does not work.Update: I had a thinner battery that allowed me to install the kit on the side of it. It has to bend the blue rubber part though and is still not a perfect fit without cutting, but it works and looks really nice.

Installed on a 1988 Ranger XLT. It does fit, but battery relocation recommended. I moved mine to the platform that the factory air box sat on. The tie down it comes with is useless. Broke in a few days. Tubing and filter seem to be of high quality.Not sure if it does improve anything except for intake noise. When you get on the pedal, it makes my 2.9 sound rather aggressive.Would purchase again.

Does not fit as advertised the tube sat on the battery, i had to add a extra 45 degree pipe and had to drill holes for the vaccum lines
