One week of usage and it ripped at the seam near the zipper and the tear kept growing. Should I throw this out? Very upset!!!!!Spent a lot of money and followed all the directions. Disappointed as the reviews were stellar. Maybe I had a defective one?

This is a spectacular encasing mattress pad. The design is great. So easy to put on,and to clean it will be a breeze. Fantastic quality!

I love that my mattress is protected with this and its very nice quality! A bit challenging to put on with one person as it encompasses the entire mattress, but I was able to do it with my queen sized bed on my own. My mattress is 18 inches tall with my topper, and it was a tight fit but this cover did work for me.

I purchased this Cleanrest mattress encashment for a brand new queen size bed. I wanted something that was truly going to protect my investment.This fit very well on my thick mattress. This is a nice, medium heavy weight protector. You will need two people to install this on a bed any larger than a twin. What I absolutely love about this protector, is that it truly covers the whole mattress-not just the top and sides. The cover piece zips off so you can launder it as many times as you need without having to reinstall the whole system each time.I didn't necessarily purchase this for waterproofness as much as for dust and allergies. Underneath your sheets it's very comfortable.This is a good value for the high quality!

This fits my 14-inch queen-size mattress like a glove. Although my mattress didn't need more padding this mattress encasement has a slightly padded surface that doesn't interfere with the padding on my pillow-top mattress. The fact it has a zip-off top and is waterproof is why I ordered this. The zippers zip smoothly and are quality zippers. It is supposed to repeal bed bugs and block allergens neither of which I have an issue with. I never had a problem with a bed bug and fingers crossed that I never will. As for being waterproof new out of the box, it is waterproof because I had no sooner secured it on my mattress than my nosey cat knocked over the water pitcher with glass on top that I kept on my bedside table when I told him to get off the bed. I used a bath towel to soak up the water and the top stayed damp. I let the top air dry and later checked the mattress and it was dry. The water did not soak through. Hopefully, this is the case after many washings. My top sheet stays on and doesn't slide around. There is no sound when I move around and so far it has a cooling effect. The AC is on 24/7 at 75 degrees F and the bed is staying cool. I use sheets that keep the bed cool year-round so that may also be helping but so far I am very happy with this mattress cover. It is the best one I have used over my 60-plus years.

Placed it in the bed of my son, who suffers several allergies and has asthma. This is not a common mattress encasing, not only for the quality, but also for extra features that I have not seen in others. Especially the ability to remove the top for washing without the need to remove the whole cover, which is always a struggle. Absolutely worth the money.

I'm very pleased with this mattress protector. It fits the queen bed, is soft and not noisy despite being waterproof, and it definitely protects the mattress. A bit of blood on the fitted sheet didn't leave a mark on this protector.
