This thing holds up well. No leakage, it’s a good value, the tank holds a lot of water. My husband and son punch on this all the time.

Trusted by my dojo, and martial artists. Century Martial arts has been sending me email blasts for years. The size is exactly what I expected. I used another color of the wave master before. I also used to have access to one in my former gym. For $300 the value is pretty darn good.It already comes assembled, so assembly is pretty easy. I think the most difficult thing to assemble is probably adding stuff to the base. Most people would recommend sand, or a sand pea Pebble mix. That's fine if you're doing stuff in your own dojo and you're not planning to move it around. However I live in an apartment complex. Although I don't plan on going anywhere, I do plan on keeping only water in there. So in addition I ordered the bumper ring direct from them. I also ordered a puzzle piece tile mat. Now that I have everything up it doesn't move around with the water. It's very much like One of the big packages from another company.I know the durability of this product very well. It's a very good design, That's meant to last.So.. Why Do I need a wavemaster? Well it's designed for portability. It's designed to be adjustable. If you were doing shadow boxing or fitness boxing, It brings a much better workout value to you than just punching the air. I know It's going to last. So this is a purchase That will be with me for a long time.A true partner that will be with me every step of the way. That I can count on to take every blow.

I teach kickboxing classes and do one on one and this bag is perfect filled up. It’s heavy enough. It goes too many levels. It’s very sturdy and I have no doubt it will last me a very long time.

this a good striking dummy for martial artists and kick boxers. the base is wide and can be filled with water or sand to keep it from flying across the room.It comes shipped in a large octagonal box fully assembled. Kids will have fun tearing apart the cardboard to get to the bag and stand. The striking bag is fully adjustable with a quarter turn and gentle upward pull and can slide completely off the rest of the stand. The lid is wide mouthed... about 2 inches wide to allow easier filling and emptying of he base.Be aware the white cover stains easily and the printed labels will smudge. Overall it comes fully assembled, easy to adjust filling the base is simple. It is a good value for the money.

After looking at reviews for WEEKS between this one and the xxl, I'm happy with this! I filled the base with water and it barely moves. I have it sitting on a thick nonslip rubber mat with a 75lb weight behind it. Doesn't scoot at all! Got this one because I mostly so punches, and the xxl would of made more sense for kicking. I'm 6ft and 297lbs. This thing is perfect. Beat it up alot already and no fabric impressions or cracks in the interior plastic. Holds up fantastic! Shipping was 4 days faster than expected too!

I’m 6’-1’ and this raises high enough for my high strikes and kicks and lowers down enough for heal stomps and knee strikes. Sturdy and durable.

This is a good bag for cardio and occasional big hits. It will move if hit with power but generally it stable. I like feel of this bag and adjusts easily. Tried medium light punching hold up well but heavy hitting or say a lunge kick would move it. Overall I'm pleased with this purchase.

I bought this so my husband could blow off some steam after work or whenever needed. Neither of us has owned a punching bag before so I do not have anything to compare it to. However, it seems to be well built and durable. It does not get used that often but we have had it for a number of years and it practically still looks like new.I think you could fill the bottom with either water or sand. We choose sand and using a funnel it was not that hard to do. Be sure to clean up any sand or other substrate you spill around this because it can scoot on the floor if you hit it hard enough and potentially cause scratches. It created a few scratches in our laminate floor before we realized what was happening. We did not fill the base 100% with sand because we thought it would end up being way too heavy. Perhaps if we filled it with more sand it would not scoot when he hits it really hard but we wanted to be able to move it without too much of a struggle. As it is it really only scoots if he absolutely wails on it.As far as a punching bag goes I am not sure what else one could want or need. As the listing states the round bottom makes it pretty easy to move around, adjusting the height is not difficult, and it seems very sturdy.

Bought this bag for my wife to take out her aggression on during medical school, and it serves the purpose. The box it arrived in was beat to pieces, but the bag didn't sustain any damage. Setup took only a couple minutes, but then filling the base with water took a while (just ran a garden hose into the base, easy enough). I love the adjustability of the height, and the bag itself offers a good firmness (not so hard to break your hand, but not too spongy either). My only real complaint (thus four stars vs. five) is that if I use the bag I end up chasing it around the room...an easy jab will only rock the bag, but a solid punch will move it slightly. It's not a deal killer, as it makes for a good workout circling the bag rather than punching from only one area. That being said, we had initially wanted to keep the bag in one corner of the workout area, but that just didn't work...the bag kept bumping up against the wall and was damaging the baseboards.Overall, this is pretty much what I had expected. I knew the bag would move some, just wasn't sure how much. The quality of the bag is good, and it is actually nice being able to move it around fairly easily. We've only had it for a couple of months, so I can't speak to how the bag will old up over the long run (although they have the same bag in the local YMCA, so it must hold up reasonably well).
