I wanted a punching bag to use for working out, but I didn’t want a heavy hanging one. This one is inflatable, with a base that you fill with sand or water (or both).This bag comes with an electric air pump! Everything you need to get started in one box. That makes this bag a good value for me, and I like that I didn’t have to get my own air pump to inflate it.The inflated bag is sturdy and is holding up to semi-frequent use. I wouldn’t say that there’s a lot of force behind my punches, I’m not super strong. So I’d say this bag should work for kids, teens, and the average adult.

I had higher hopes for this punching bag, and it even says adult on the age range at the bottom of the description details. They have taken adult out if the title since I got this however, and the only reason we got this inflatable punching bag was for adult usage.Unfortunately for us, it's really better for kids/young teens. The base only holds 70lbs of water, or 100lbs of sand, and it moves around a good bit when my husband tries to use it. It seems like it could possibly tip over if you hit it hard enough, and scoots all over the floor while in use.Durability is nice for an inflatable punching bag, the top does hold up to hits, and it comes with an air pump for easy inflation of the top portion. It's also pretty easy to fill the base, and to use as long as you don't punch too hard. If you are an adult, this is for light boxing only. It's more of a placement/accuracy practice bag rather than for heavy punches. Value wise I think it's a nice kids punching bag. Just not good for my husband, and what he wanted to use it for.I took some stars away because when we got this, it was billed as for both adults and kids, but is really just more for kids.

This workout bag is good choice for kids or younger teens. It’s well-made, easy to set up and looks pretty nice. It does the job for light training but most adults are going to find this too small/light for a real workout. Even with sand or water in the base, it moves around a lot when you hit it full out. Also, heads up, there’s a plasticky smell when you first set it up. It fades over time, but it’s noticeable at first.If you’re getting this for a kid or just want something casual for very light training, say you want to work on accuracy for your martial arts kicks and are just tapping it, it will work well.

I’m really happy with this freestanding punching bag set! The bag is perfect for home use, and it’s a huge plus that it doesn’t require any drilling or mounting on the wall—this was a major selling point for me. The setup was straightforward, and I love that the electric air pump is included, so I didn’t have to purchase anything extra.The bag itself is sturdy and holds up well during training. The base needs to be filled with water or sand, which is easy to do, and the safety valve seems to work well to prevent leaks. Once inflated, the bag stays in place while I’m working out, which is important for boxing or kickboxing.I’ve been using this, and it’s holding up great. The material is durable and shows no signs of wear, even after several intense sessions. I’ve used it for both boxing and kickboxing, and it works perfectly for both. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is that it could be a little more stable for heavy punches. Sometimes, it can wobble slightly when hit with a lot of force, but it’s not a dealbreaker for me.Overall, this is a fantastic punching bag for beginners or anyone looking to train at home without taking up too much space. It’s a solid purchase, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking to start boxing or just get in a good workout!

The WithStar Heavy Punching Bag is a solid choice if you’re looking for something for kids or teens. The quality is good, and it looks nice once set up, but I just don’t think this is really meant for adults. It’s lightweight, and even with sand or water in the base, it still moves around when you hit it with any real force. I feel like a little kid playing with it, which is fine if that’s what you’re looking for, but I don’t think it should be marketed as an adult punching bag.If you’re getting this for a younger boxer or just want something casual for light training, it’s a solid option. I’ll probably save it for when my daughter gets older or maybe for my nephew since he’s getting into boxing. Definitely make sure you add some weight to the base so it doesn’t slide around too much.Overall, I’m giving it four stars. It’s a five-star product in terms of quality, but the advertising is misleading. If it were just advertised for kids and teens, I’d have no complaints.

Easy to set up Freestanding Punching Bag with Electric Air Pump by WithStar. The bottom portion is the “stand” and can be filled with water or a combination of water and sand to give the stand weight and stability. The top portion is the punching bag is filled with air and an electric air pump is enclosed! The punching bag is made of premium pvc and it can take a beating. I take boxing classes with a trainer so this bag is great for me to practice between classes. It’s also great for just a fun workout and getting out some stress!
