UPDATE: I returned this item due to interference from other signals turning the light on or off. I ordered another kit (by same vendor) that uses later remote control tech that avoids the DIP switches and does an explicit pairing between the remote and the installed control box (in the fan housing). I think that will resolve my issue with this kit. About the same price but newer kit lacks the nice wall switch as part of kit but still has remote, phone app, and smart home integration (Alexa in my case).ORIGINAL: This kit (R28 wifi) comes with everything you need and the price seems very reasonable.Thee install is pretty straightforward. I wired the remote control unit up above my not-too-old ceiling fan and set the DIP switch to match the handheld remote.I have not yet used the wall switch since I don't mind using the remote.I also set up the phone app and connected to Amazon Alexa so I have voice control AND phone app control/status if needed. IT ALL WORKS FINE.BUT - The ceiling light is getting turned off/on by some interference or another apartment owner above or below or near me. I don't think the apartment supplies remote controls since I am doing this myself but perhaps another renter has a similar device. I have tried 3 different DIP switch settings and they all have the same problem. I can have the light on and when I turn it off it will often come back on fairly quickly. Like someone needs their night light. It has also turned off when I have it on during the day to test it. So I might be upsetting a neighbor. BUT changing the DIP switch setting should fix that.I am at a loss for a solution so I might just have to uninstall this. So I can't recommend it. But maybe my situation is not typical. If there were a way to disable the DIP switch remote and just use wifi that might work for me but no answer to this problem for now. I did read about a user (not of this device) who had interference from a neighbor's garage door opener so this kind of thing does happen (though I don't have a garage door anywhere near me).
