Woodworking openers for the drilling industry:
Material: 45# carbon steel, YG6 carbide (tungsten carbide) insert, hardened and tempered. Sharp edges, accurate positioning, high hardness, impact resistance, smooth cutting and toughness.
For drilling flat bottom holes in any thickness of softwood without chips. Suitable for drilling in any direction and for making curved openings. For drilling partially overlapping flat bottom holes for easy mortising and tenoning.
This set of wood bits is available in different sizes (15mm - 100mm), giving you the option to choose between different sizes of branch hole bit sets when working. Helps to clean up flat bottom holes in wood quickly and brilliantly.
This product is only suitable for working with wood or soft non-metallic materials.
Note: This product is not suitable for use on glass, metal, plasterboard or mixed clay otherwise the tool will break down quickly.

Two Spurs & Center Spur
Two spurs and centering point can offer repeated, clean and accurate cutting holes. The sharp center spur accurately locates the center of your hole.
Special Design
Small incision resistance to improve the opening speed. The head adopts arc curve design for easy chip-removal and no tremor. The perforation is neat, smooth, no broken edge.
Universal Shank
Round shank is made of solid hardened steel, with high hardness. Can be used in drill press, bench drill, vertical drilling machine, CNC carving machine.

I am using the bit to make gingerbread mouldings out of pine. It creates a very clean hole and tons of shavings suitable for animal bedding. I have not tried it on oak or maple

The cutter measures 18.69 mm, or .735 inches. This bit may actually be a 31/64, which is .734 inches. The hole I drilled in pine measures 18.75 mm. Too big for the 18 mm brass bushing I plan to put in it.

Bit looks good but didn’t use it so can’t say it worked well. However received a box marked 16mm (what I ordered) containing a bit marked 15mm. Not sure if this is a common problem.

Cheap bits deliver cheap results. Should have known. This bit would not drill into 4x4 block of hardwood without binding the drill press to a stop over and over. I replaced it with a more expensive bit and it went through like butter. BUY BETTER BITS. Don’t waste your money here.

The bit was excellently manufactured and was used for drilling holes for tea light candle holders. Worked very well on thin wood as well as thick. No tear outs
