I like it! It is flexible, so it's easy to fit in my lunch bag and it cleans up easily.

I've really liked this for food prep, serving, and eating from it. It packs small and it's very light. Being silicon, cleanup is very easy.Completely flat it's a good cutting board, but also an excellent place to put raw ingredients in general. Both as a short and tall bowl it's also good for ingredients and short is a nice size and shape for serving (especially things that might be too cumbersome for a regular camp bowl/pot). For eating a personal meal the short bowl is great for dryer foods/meals, and the tall version is excellent for stews or pasta.

This is a good item for camping or the office! I like using it as a plate and as a bowl, it works well in both forms. I also bring it with me camping so I have a cutting board and it serves multiple purposes. Im very happy with it and I know it'll get a lot of use over the years!

This bowl/plate is compact and light weight. It snaps easily into a couple of configurations. Initially I folded with the ridges inside and thought it was a bad design but then realized I'd folded it wrong. It's meant to fold with the smooth side in to make it clean easier. It's a good size for a bowl or plate.I like it. Not ultra light but decent.

Promilove collapsible light blue, lightweight, silicon bowl is portable and can be used in three practical ways:1- Use it in a flat position as a trivet or cutboard2- Fold and convert into a bowl that is 6.1 inches wide and 2.9 inches tall.3- Fold and convert into a 4.5 inches wide and 3.9 inches tall bowl.It is easy to assemble and unassemble. Simple to clean. This bowl could be used as a cup or as a bowl for food. I plan to use it as a traveling valet. It hardly occupies space in my suitcase when flat. I can assemble the 6 inch bowls at the hotel where I plan to place my phone, car rental key, money .... all in one spot. I also will have an emergency bowl/ cup if I decide to order a take out at the hotel.

I got this as one of those " Say...what?" types of items, to satisfy my curiosity, and found I really liked the silly thing. It's a curious implement, basically just a flat sheet of silicon with formed creases and snaps, which allows you to shape it in what they call the "plate" position (really more of a shallow bowl) and the "bowl" position, which is actually more of a deep cup. I think they would work well for backpacking, being very light and versatile, as well as easy to clean. They also insulate against hot contents, so you don't burn your hands, or you can use it as a trivet. It's a very interesting item and well worth purchasing just for its interesting construction, but it's also quite functional. I think they ought to be sold in pairs. A good value.

TLDR: This will not work as a cup because it will leak, and it will only work as a bowl if it is set on a table (not hand-held) or non liquid food is used. This is flimsy when it is folded into either configuration. You cannot use this thing with liquids and hold it in your hand. It will spill in your lap. In the large bowl configuration it will 100% not work with soup, etc. unless you place it on a table. In the cup configuration it will not work as a cup and will leak. When the liquid rises above one of the folds it will leak...and your mouth is above the fold...so you will get some liquid in your mouth and some liquid dribbling down the outside of the "cup". So basically it is only good as a bowl if sitting on a table and it is never good as a drinking cup. If you put nuts or salad or pasta in it then it will work fine. But I consider this a camping item and when camping a table is not always available and coffee/tea is a mandatory camping activity.

Both of my kids have aged out of scouts, but I would have loved having this as our mess kit along with the other compact utensil sets I've recently collected. Now, being silicone, I wouldn't necessarily use this to hold a mug of soup, but for stew or even chili, I could see it holding up as a bowl. It's just a little too jiggly as the tall "bowl" configuration. Also, I wouldn't use metal utensils with it, but plastic or silicone coated ones would probably be fine. Beyond that, it's totally usable as a wide plate.
