I have had this for about 6 months, and it worked well for maybe 4-6 weeks then wouldn’t light easily. It would take several clicks to get a flame going. It was full and I tipped it in every direction thinking the fuel wasn’t where it needed to be, all to no avail. That has progressed to it just not lighting at all. Very disappointed in the quality.

When we first started using the lighter it worked ok, but it didnt light up 100% of the time. I found out this weekend that my wife quit using it many weeks ago because it quit working. i have cleared the fuel tank and refilled with high quality fuel and it will not light. Buyer's beware!

It works great, I charged mine with butane and used it once then went back to use it several months later and it held the charge. I pull the trigger to charge it so it can vent while being filled it is easy to use. I

I did *NOT* read the reviews when I bought this and was annoyed to find that it does not come with any butane. I have since read most of the reviews and lots of you had some bad experiences with this torch, but they all seem to be related to filling it with butane. I (weirdly) had to do a deep-dive on the internet about filling butane lighters, and it turns out I've been doing it wrong. I went to the hardware store and paid way more than this lighter for some butane fluid. Then I followed all the instructions about turning the butane filler upside-down, and getting the ports all lined up just right and the temperature right, and it was oddly technical to make it all happen. I looked through the little transparent window and was able to see liquid filling the lighter. That's really the key, if you can see the liquid in the window then you've done it right. But now I have a hot torch that I carry around in my car to un-freeze frozen locks in the great North where I live. Except butane lighters suck in the cold, they won't light at all under probably 15F. You have to hold it near to your skin, under your coat, for 15min or so, to warm it up... but maybe that's TMI.
