Title. Better off with a toaks 750 ml titanium pot. 15$ cheaper and can fit 4oz gas canisters inside with a brs stove. This thing is just for putting in the closet.

I wrote a long in depth review but compared it to the millitary canteen cup a so Am*zon refused to post it, so here I am back to the start, waisting my time. All I'm going to say this time is that its worth it you should buy. It fits the xxxxxx bottle as well as the xxxxx. If I were to compare this to the mil surp one, I would say that this is lighter and shaped a bit better but I'm not going to say that.

For the price, this was a great deal. It is slightly larger than my alpha 1 stainless canteen and doesn't fit perfectly, but that is no big deal, especially considering the ounces I save compared to stainless. It appears to be well made and high quality, not something I'm afraid to use for cooking. My only complaint is that the bail handle, while a cool feature, makes it so the whole package doesn't fit in my canteen pouch. I will probably just remove it and carry some wire to use if I ever decide to hang is over a fire, something I find very unlikely anyway. To get a perfect score from me, they would have made the handle detachable, but I'm not complaining. This was half the price of similar gear and is close enough to ideal for me. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. It's a keeper.

It fits my trangia spirit burner perfectly, so I can cover it easily from the large opening.400ml water boils fast. The hanger on the pot will stay upright while on the stove, so it's easy to remove without burning myself. The only improvement I would really like is for the handles to be longer, so I can also safely use those without a glove. And it would be nice if Boundless Voyage also produces a 1+L canteen that can fit in here.

Yes, it fits the Nalgene lexan canteen bottle; a little squeezing of the pot edge reshapes the pot enough to let the canteen slip in and out fully. Burner support has a larger opening than I like; it helps to feed big twigs but lets a bit of heat escape sooner than I like; an aluminium wrap takes care of that; I used former pie pans that have pin holes so are not going back into use. You can get fancy and use small paper clips to make some kind of hanger support, you only need a flap to partially cover the upper half of the opening. I use a military surplus bag (has internal fabric divider) to contain the kit with room left for a flat of Esbit tabs and Pepsi style alcohol stove and fire kit. The mesh bag goes into keeping the fire kit from getting scattered about.

The product is a little larger than the old style military version of this product.I found putting the lid in first then the rest of it in the military canteen carrier works. The cup heater/stove is better designed than the original military one which was issued to me from the US Army.

This is the first canteen cup I have seen with a stove and a bail!

Well made, good design. Stove works great without warping. The pot fits plastic nalgene and plastic usgi canteens. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the Keith/heavy cover titanium canteens, the titanium canteen drops in but doesn't fully seat into the pot, sets about 3/4" above the bottom of the pot, kind of short sighted not to consider the titanium canteen in the design. Still a light weight but durable piece of gear. Recommend.
