I am using this to add bluetooth to a pro-sumer grade dedicated stereo amplifier and it works well. It paired easily with my android phone. Since I was only using it to listen to music, I can't speak on any delay. Bluetooth sends a digital signal, so this shouldn't impact sound quality unless the 3.5 plug or jack are dirty or have problems.I think it's cool that this can receive or transmit signals based off the switch. This will bring new life into some old electronics around the house.I the first one I ordered enough that I am about to order a second one to hook up to my garage stereo so I don't have to use a portable CD player out there anymore.

The maximum volume of the BT adapter is too low. Worst of all, TX sound output from my keyboard to the BT speakers has a delay of half a second. The BT adapter sound is not to compare with a smartphone. I have to wire my speakers again. No delay, perfect sound.

Excellent and very economical solution to my problem. My hearing is not the greatest and I live in an apartment - so wanted to make sure that the volume of my tv didn't disturb my neighbors. I had an older (around 10 years) Sound Freaq bluetooth speaker and Samsung TV (no bluetooth) that I wanted to try to connect so I could have the speaker right next to me - hopefully to keep the sound from traveling through apartment walls. I honestly didn't have much hope of finding a solution that would work with my old speaker/tv, but thought the price of this (under $10) made it worth trying.I purchased this little gem on May 19, 2024. To date (August 11) it has remained connected with no issues! Connecting to the speaker was a bit fiddly (it has had connection issues since I got it) but once I was able to get it in pairing mode and it connected I was good to go. I leave the speaker on all the time, but turn the tv off/on as needed.I love when a product just works!

We definitely like the product. Only issue we've had is connection going in and out & a ringing when accelerating. The battery lasts long and it's easy to store in your middle console.

I have hearing aids with Bluetooth capability. I connect with my phone and my "main" computer with no difficulty. I wanted something to connect to a TV at my desk so I wouldn't disturb anyone else with my listening. This device works great with both my TV and another older computer that is not so friendly with my hearing aids (and luckily has an audio out plug). What is great is that I can plug this transmitter into a cable from either the TV or the computer once it is connected (via Bluetooth). I can't/don't want to listen to two sources at once, so this is a feature, not a bug.The biggest issue I have had is walking out of my office and out of range of the transmitter. Re-connecting has been a problem. I take care of this by unplugging the device from the cable when I leave the room, and carry it with me. The device is connected to me, not to the TV or computer input, so once I go back to the office and plug back in, I am "connected" again (because I was never effectively disconnected). It is an issue to remember to unplug when I decide to leave the office, but it is a small issue to give me a capability I have not had since I got the hearing aids. The battery life is fine for most purposes. I did run out of battery once when watching back-to-back-to-back football games (well outside the expected battery life), but I seldom watch TV for that long in the office (a couple of days a year?), so this is not a big deal, IMHO. I actually am considering buying a second version of this to allow swapping, but this seems a bit of overkill. Also, the hearing aids are limited in the number of devices they can connect to, so two of these items would be pushing the limits of the aids. I don't know what other needs I might have in the future, but two of these transmitters would probably be the limit of what I can reasonably foresee needing. The best argument for getting a second version is based on the idea that I can always make sure I have one device charged at any time, and not worry about whether the device will last for the time I desire. For swapping, two devices will work as long as I can imagine. The cost of two of these is low enough that having two to eliminate the issue of battery life is a small price.

Operates just fine when it does work, but I finally decided to throw it in the bin after debating on it for a while and spending way too much time just on trying to get it to pair. Only got it to pair 1 out of about 4 attempts on 2 different occasions and the last 4 or 5 attempts afterwards yielded no results.
