Server solution to gain Bluetooth capability, use in conjunction with a USB audio adapter. Will use 2 USB ports (2.0). The USB Audio adapter provides audio output, this adapter plugs into the audio adapter and a USB Port for power and converts audio to Bluetooth output. Works great! So many people complain that they can't get Bluetooth on Windows Server and this is a nice work around for cheap. Should work fine on older TV's using the headphone jack, I've used other brands for that but haven't tried this one as I bought it specifically for the server.

Had to replace the a different transmitter as it finally died. This one seems to work well and doesn't overdrive my aux input in my vehicle.

Bought it for my father in law since he likes to wear headphones for his favorite shows. He got a new pair of headphones and we needed a universal adapter for Bluetooth in general. Found this ready to install since it uses the tv’s usb plug for power and small enough to hang behind it. The connectivity is ok: he has to pair his headphones everytime he wants to use it but he’s done it enough that it’s easy for him to do it and part of the routine. Wish it would remember the last pairing so he doesn’t have to pair it every time.

I already have a Bluetooth transmitter but it is too big to carry around. This device has no internal power and has to be attached to a powered device with USB or a powerbank to function. I tested mine uusing an old Mini-Disc player to connect to a soundbar using Bluetooth and it was recognised instantly! Sound quality seems decent and it comes with full instructions and 2 X short 3.5 - 3.5 Stereo Mini-Jack connecting leads. Fantastic value for money for what you get.

Our boat has a Kenwood marine stereo with 8 speakers, a subwoofer and two wired remotes; one on the swim platform and another at the Captain's chair. Stereo still performs great but is just old enough that it lacks BT connectivity. All of the accessory inputs are taken for the subwoofer and wired remotes so I needed to find an alternative or replace the whole system. I took a chance on this adapter and it performs perfect. I have the adapter itself plugged into a USB charge port (for power) and then run a cable to the AUX input for the stereo. It connects fast, stays connected and has better range than I anticpated. The short money I paid for this set up is ideal and saved me from having to replace an entire system which would have been about $1K to get the same features I have now with my marine stereo.

Pretty good product. I use it in my truck sterio and once paired with my phone it connects right away whenever I hop in my truck. Makes some white noise when in use but plugging a ground loop isolater in-between gives you a nice clean sound

My Infiniti M35x has Bluetooth, but, only for voice calls.I wanted a solution for streaming music. This product fit the bill perfectly. There are some with a mic, but that could conflict with the car factory Bluetooth. Also, I have wired it internally from the cigarette lighter port. So the adapter gets powered when the car is turned on and powered off when the car is turned off.Caution: this unit is 5V and most cigarette lighter ports are 12V. So, I have a cigarette lighter to USB adapter that is used to power this Bluetooth adapter.I have paired multiple phones. The adapter connects to the last connected phone. If it is a different phone, you can go to the phone Bluetooth settings and initiate the connection. This is fine for me.Sometimes there is a hiss in the speakers at low volumes or if the Bluetooth is paired but not playing anything. This is not the limitation of the Bluetooth, but, ground loop noise. I have not found it to be an issue. There are products available to address this on Amazon as well as other places.I have not measured the power consumption but expect that it will be low power based on The Bluetooth 5.1 spec. When I start the car, the phone is paired to the car’s factory Bluetooth for voice calls and this unit for streaming audio automatically.I am happy with this product. Hopefully, the unit quality holds up, which only time can tell. Will post updates in a few months.

Great Product, works really well. I installed it in my 2011 Ford Expedition because the default sound source is line in instead of factory Bluetooth which is annoying, I thought I would give this a try and it works great my phone connects quickly to this device. I use the receive Bluetooth and probably will never use the transmit. I like the fact now that my music starts playing as soon as I start the vehicle. I have the phone connect to my vehicle factory Bluetooth for phone use and the music/audio to this device. Sound quality is great and this device is small and is installed in my console USB and 1/8 audio line in port so its hidden and out of the way, exactly what I wanted. Comes with (2) 1/8 cables longer than the picture shows works great for me.

My car only streams calls on bluetooth but with this i can instantly replace my aux connector. My car has a usb port next to it so i can connect both and hide it without wires hanging out. I dont have to worry about recharging since its connected to a usb port so i can leave to drain and when i turn the car it automatically turns on with no hassle. For its price i recommend to those wanting to get ride of aux cords. The sound quality has more bass but nothing a treble cant help. Aux will always have better quality sound but this device almost rivals it so there is no loss here. Recommend

As another reviewer pointed out " I hooked it up to my tv no problem and it connected, but there was lag and a terrible static " I too have come to this issue myself, I have trouble with syncing my audio with my pc, when im watching Netflix or Hulu or just audio in general. I was happy to have a device that allows me to have wireless head set, but Im disappointed that its lagging and has a random static sound. I could over look the static here and there, but the out of sync audio is bugging me. Did I happen to get a flawed device or is this the standard for this product? From my experience I cant recommend this.
