This bluetooth adapter is surprisingly small, especially considering how long the rechargeable battery lasts. I ran it for three days and it still did not go dead. Even more amazing to me was the range of the bluetooth signal. I connected my Squeezebox radio to this in transmit mode and started listening to a radio station through bluetooth headphones. I tried to see how far away the setup worked. When I found it could be heard anywhere in the house, I went out into my backyard and started walking away from the house to see just how foar it would work. The first seventy feet of the yard is open lawn, but then it is mature hardwood forest. I was about 130 yards away before the signal dropped out! That means I can mow my lawn whilst listening to my computer or radio without any interruptions in the signal. I love that. Keep in mivd though that bluetooth signals are affected by walls and obstacles. In this case there was only one pane of window glass in the signal path. I also tried it where it was forced to go through two interior walls and an ouside wall and still found that I could go between 200 and 250 feet before Inoticed the signal cutting out. This is still very good.It comes with any cables and adapters you are likely to need. Charging is fast too, as it only takes about 2.5 hours from complete discharge to full charge. I definitely recommend this.

I've purchased several small dongle-type audio adapters in the past and while they all work as specified, their short range often breaks-up the audio streams while walking. The adapter, while a bit bulkier, has a much better range-distancing than other adapters. In addition, the device comes with multiple AUX cable configurations, making it much more versatile for different device connections.I especially like its ability when paired with my Bluetooth ear buds in its ability to keep paired even when underneaths thicker cold-weather clothing. The only other thing that would be helpful would be a snap-on clip such that I could clip it to a pocket or collar.
