This is the second time I have purchased this same brand and style comforter. We love the 500 thread count cotton makes the outer shell of the comforter feel really nice and soft to the touch. The weight is ideal for us also its not to hot or too cold and love that is on the larger side for our King size bed.

This comforter is so amazing, I wish I could give it 10 stars. I am picky about down alternative comforters and had searched for awhile - this one is perfect!! I was skeptical because of the price, and still can’t believe the price now that it’s on my bed - It is just as nice as comforters I have spent a lot more money on! Oversized compared to my last comforter and fluffy like a cloud. Thrilled about this comforter!

For a drafty California winter, I like a warm comforter that is both spongy soft and has some weight to it. This comforter serves nicely. If you're looking for a featherweight, this isn't it. The full/queen blanket is about 10 pounds (similar to a weighted blanket) so it's like snuggling under a light hug. Have slept under the comforter for a couple of nights now and it feels so cozy.The comforter has a ribbon "hook" on each corner that allows you to use the ribbons in your duvet cover to tie the corners down.After fluff up for 24 hours, I was pleasantly surprised to find no scent to the comforter. I keep finding several tiny little balls of stuffing that have escaped the 500 thread count cover--but you'd experience the same with an actual down comforter too. The cover is classy and elegant, cool to the touch with a shiny texture that seems to hang onto wrinkles. Kinda reminds of Tencel. I put a duvet cover on it since it's easier to wash a cover than the comforter itself. I was worried the damask striping would add scratchiness, but not the case here, it's smooth.

This comforter is so soft and great for people who have heat issues like me but want to sleep with a comforter. I've purchased a lot of comforters in my time and this one is a very high quality alternative to a down comforter at a crazy low price. It really is 500 thread count.

This was advertised as one of the warmest down-alternative comforters in its price range. The fill weight is comparable to the higher priced items. I don't know how to compare it to down, which I do not buy because it depends on animal cruelty.It's warm enough for San Francisco, which has a Mediterranean-like climate (usually >40F). Only one night have I needed additional covers, but I sleep cold.The comforter is about 2" thick and is baffle boxed along the edges. It's a little harder to handle/put into a duvet cover) than less bulky comforters.My main criticism is that it does not have tabs or attachment points at the corners. Until I get around to sewing some on, I've been using the ties in my duvet covers to anchor it in place. Still, it slides around a lot.Overall I'm happy with it.

It's fluffy! I love it! My only comment is that you have to have a cover for this duvet because it do shed. But other than that it is super soft and fluffy.
