This ligature might fit narrower, metal tenor mouthpieces or perhaps an alto mouthpiece, but it's really not large enough to fit common tenor mouthpieces as advertised. Copied from the more expensive Rovner ligatures, this was too small to fit easily on my very standard Yamaha 4C and 5C tenor saxophone mouthpieces. I had to back out the screw almost all the way to get the ligature to fit well over the reed and mouthpiece.Fortunately, I found my lost Rovner ligature, which fits well, but not in time to return this one or else I would have.

Great product. Works like it should! My son is a little rough on items, but had held up good for now.
