Was very nice for the price but needed one for a tenor sax. This was for an alto when I got it

I bought this to use with my Rico Metalite bari sax mouthpiece. That's right, that bari mouthpiece is very slim and uses a tenor ligature. It also is a good, cheap mouthpiece.Ligatures can cost less than $6 (like this one) or over $100. They all do the same thing. Pay as much as you think you can afford. Sure, the sound will change with the type ligature you use, but so will a different reed, mouthpiece, horn, your posture and air stream, concept of tone, etc.And its from the U.S.A. Yeah!

It's exactly as pictured/advertised. Inexpensive and it does its job. It fit on my Rico Graftonite B5 mouthpiece, for those curious about compatibility.Edit (3/2015): After about 2.5 years of regular use (and 1.5 years of irregular use) both of the screws have snapped off and the metal near where the part the screw goes into attaches to the rest of the ligature is tearing. But for $5, I suppose it's ok.
