Sturdy, solid ligature. Not sure what to expect as far as quality but, holds the reed to the mouthpiece. It does let the reed vibrate without choking it. Keep in mind, you won't be able to put on or take off the mouthpiece with this ligture on, it's a very light piece that isn't like your standard pieces, will come off it's you try that.
