They are fit for repairing wheels. With short spokes and small rims, the tensioners fit too tight.

I'm not a master wheel builder but I found the tools useful and the package offered a lot for the value. I used the spoke tension meter on a wheel I was building and assuming you can read the chart provided is clear and easy to understand. I would buy this again

I built a wheel from an internally geared hub recently and ordered this kit to help with it. Between the tensiometer and the various spoke wrenches it was exactly what I needed to succeed. I had avoided it for so long because I thought, "it must be expensive to buy a whole knew tool: a spoke tensiometer." Well, with this kit, not so much. And the extra hex keys are nice as well, I can always use them and I kind of like the stainless steel look on them as opposed to the other ones I have.
