Does what it is supposed to do for a good price.

The wrench worked nicely but the tension meter was very difficult to get it to settle on a consistent reading so it was very hard to use.

No more guessing; spoke tensions on the right side of a wheel should be close to matching, ditto the left side of the wheel. Right and left tensions should be close to each other, not necessarily the same to center the wheel. This takes the guessing out of spoke tightness and aids with alignment.

Works great.

I have no way of knowing if it is accurate, but at least I can rely on it to set spoke tensions that all meter the same. It definitely helps set balance on the wheel when you aren't sure how loose/tight things are. Bundling it with the spoke tightening tool was a nice touch.

Simple to use.For personal use, it is perfect. No idea if it has a professional calibration, but it worked perfectly for me to show me the tension of each spoke and to know to tighten or to loosen to keep them consistent. Can't say obviously if the reading was the actual number it showed, but it worked perfectly to get them all the same tension. Here are some good tips.1) The spokes on the side of the gear cog (the right side) have higher tension then the left, so just go around and get each spoke to be about the same for its dies...higher on the right, lower on the right.2) Don't bother with the chart. It does not make any sense. Yes it shows a chart for 2mm width spokes, but not possible to figure out the chart. Besides that, it makes no sense to follow a chart because your brand of spokes, rim design/material, nipple size, type, etc., do not allow to follow a simple chart! --> The chart is for professionals building a new wheel from scratch and needing to match it all to specs...otherwise, just do as I wrote in 1 and 2.3) ALL the Youtube videos show the tire off! ....Well just take 5 minutes and go around each wheel with the tire on and adjust as in 1 + 2 ...SIMPLE! Most of us are not professionals...we just want a simple tool to help us tighten up spokes without breaking them, etc.4) This tool was WELL worth it if you just do as I wrote.5) Lastly it comes with a really great spoke wrench that was better than my Park one!

The quality is obvious when you hold this in your hand. Solid and strong. I enjoyed using it and was able to take a wheel that looked like and "S" back to very close True. I did it with nothing else. Just recorded all the spokes and kept adjusting till they were pretty close to each other. Great tool! the spoke wrench was a little soft in the material so i stripped it after about 20 turns, so might want to invest in a good one seperately.
