Got this for our daughter for Christmas. Shocked at the value for it. For less than $50 we had one excited little girl Christmas morning. Perfect for beginners or kids who want something so badly but you know it’s just a “flavor of the month” type of gift request.

Great size for beginner. Love all the extras it came with to help my daughter learn. The guitar itself is beautiful and sturdy. Great value!

Ok, so I really don’t like to leave negative reviews, but this is not great. The quality of the guitar itself is ok, but when I tried to tune it with the tuner, it didn’t sound right, so I used a tuning app, and when I was tuning the last string, it popped off! I went through a whole process of removing and reattaching strings. I’m also confused why the instructions say to change the strings when you first get it. I know your supposed to break in the strings and it will settle in after you tune it several times, but it wouldn’t even tune correctly. When we tried to reattach the strings and tune it again, they would just pop off. For this, I’m giving this guitar three stars. Do not recommend.

I do not agree with the negative reviews! I must assume those people having trouble with tuning are unfamiliar with string instruments and how the tuning process works with new instruments. The negative reviews nearly turned me off from buying this one until I actually read them. Don’t worry about the negative reviews, and take a chance on this one!My instrument is beautiful, has a lovely sound, and no it’s not a $1,000 instrument. I didn’t buy one of those because I can’t realistically afford one. But what I got was a very well-made guitar that would be great for a beginner or at least an amateur guitarist, particularly one learning classical or fingerstyle guitar. I would say this is a much higher quality instrument than what I actually paid for it. $40 is like getting this guitar for free, honestly.

This was, quite literally, the least expensive full size nylon string guitar I could find, so I was a little nervous about how it would sound or feel, but it ended up being surprisingly delightful. It took a few days for the nylon strings to settle in and hold their tune, but once I broke it in, it was absolutely fine.I tried learning how to play on a cheap steel string guitar 20 years ago, but I quickly gave it up because it was nearly impossible to press the strings down hard enough to make a decent sounding chord. I ended up getting a ukulele instead, and that was a much better experience, so I thought it would be fun to try a nylon string guitar. My goal was to go as cheap as possible, in case I hated it as much as my first guitar (maybe I just need to stop being so cheap), but this guitar is a dream to play. I’ve already learned how to finger a G, A, Am, D, E, Em, C (kind of), and most of the sus variants of those chords, and it only took me a few days. I’m still struggling with the F, and other bar chords, but I can make it through a good number of songs now, which is all I ever really wanted out of a guitar. This is an absolutely perfect guitar to learn on. The strap and gig bag that come with it are definitely on the basic side, but the tuner is a Godsend, and it hasn’t left the headstock since I attached it.This would be a perfect gift for anyone who wants to try learning the guitar, and it can easily be passed on to another friend or family member if they decide to invest in a higher quality instrument down the road.

Great guitar! The tuner sucks. But I just used GuitarTuna and 20 mins later everything was in tune and sounded nice. Great beginner guitar for my son as I don’t have to worry about him breaking or damaging it for the price. It’s not a pro guitar but really does a great job! Very surprising sound quality for the price. One of the better guitars under $100

I bought this guitar for my 8 year old grandson. He loves it. There is no explanation on installing the strap. It looks like it doesnt fit. One end of the strap fits on the nob under guitar. The other end you have to tie a string or thin piece of leather through the keyhole and then tie it at the bottom of the headstock under the strings where it meets the neck of the guitar. It would have been nice if they would have described that instead of my having to go back and forth with the company for clarification until they sent me a video showing how to do it. They did try to be helpful though and I finally figured it out.

I get when you something cheap you should expect poor materials. But you at least get a guitar that is properly put together. The nut that holds the strings before the strings go to the tuner is off centered, rendering the top E string usually because it easily slides off the fret and to the side of the guitar.Heck, the tuning pegs are even center and that’s the fault of whoever bored the holes for the pegs. Then you have the frets. Who runs sandpaper over the frets, seriously? The frets are so rough and will chew through nylon strings in no time.I’ve been playing for 15 years and all I’m asking for is a Guitar that is properly put together. Here’s the worst part. Amazon will not let me return the product because it contains “flammable Liquids or Gases.” Sure Amazon, show me where the liquid and gases are in a guitar?
