The guitar was received in a display box, not even packed for shipping in an Amazon box. When I opened the box, the head with the pegs was broken off of the neck. I should have reviewed the ratings before I told my husband to buy it for our grand daughter for her birthday. The quality was poor and the strings wouldn't have never held a tune for even a few minutes. Will be returning it immediately.

This is for my toddler and it broke the day it came. Strings snap and become lose so easily and do not tighten well. I wanted to return it but they are making us provide packaging

I didn't expect much at the price but the tuning knobs pretty much turn freely. This means that as your child plays with it the strings come loose and eventually come out. For me, it was like 3 minutes until I had to put the high E string back on. After the third time in less than an hour, I removed a few of the strings. This is a nice toy to look at but not something that can actually be played with.

Our grand daughter loved it. Her father plays the guitar and he wants to teach her to play. The wires will need to be replaced with better ones, my son mentioned.
