DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! Used twice and just stopped working in the middle of a session. It won't properly connect to my camera and keeps causing my camera to shut off. Company doesn't allow returns or refunds. Total scam.

You don’t need to use the cable that comes with it for the grip to power the camera thankfully but it’s a nice accommodation for vertical shooting. Adds a great beefy looks to the d5600 as well.

This battery grip is awesome. I gives a very sturdy feel to my camera when I use my large zoom lens. The grip itself feels like it is made from good quality materials. I have a different brand for my other camera and this one feels so much more expensive--doesn't feel like plastic. I highly recommend this item.

Just received this for my Nikon D3500, it fits perfectly. Seems like good value for the money and is well made. (Just realized the cable has the wrong plug so it will not fit, I don’t think it’s really necessary anyway.)

When you plug into the camera, you get an error screen saying this battery can not communicate with the camera. When you first put it in it triggers the flash for some reason also. The box has a sticker on it that says d5500. I am returning the item.
