For both parts the screws which held the plates on were not screwed in. There was no threading in the screw holes when I attempted to fix it. Both fell apart immediately.

Fit perfectly. Tab is a slightly different shape than oem… but it also says Canon on it. Might be oem?

be aware before purchasing the battery cover doesn't fit Canon 5D Mark 3 it's for Mark 2I'm glad amazon refunded me but I lost a lot of time due this since I shipped it outside of US
