Love this barre for my home gym. While I am no ballerina (that's for sure!), it's great for stretching and balance work overall for anyone, and is easy to install. Just be sure to install it securely to the wall. It's also not very long across the wall, so it's fine for one person or two people at a time to use.

Although the barre is advertised as 5 feet, the one we received was 59 inches and we did not discover this problem UNTIL we had installed the brackets into the required studs - it's too short for safe use. I tried to contact the seller right within a week of the delivery through the Amazon portal, but never heard back. Even though I didn't get Amazon involved until about a week ago, they offered to take it as a return and refund our money. I just wanted a rod the correct length, and not have to return the whole package...

This 3' barre is perfect for our home gym having only a small wall with 2 studs available for mounting. The instructions were easy to follow and allowed for painless DIY installation. It fully supports the stretching exercises needed for my 6' 3" 225 lbs. back, hips and knee flexibility. The only downside is the black "cast iron" finish. Maybe I could have spray-painted it before installation to give it a more contemporary color. Regardless we love it.

Very sturdy hardware was easy to install (once I found the studs;-} ). The wood round is raw but solid. It needs sanding because it is rough to the touch and had several black marks from pushing through hardware openings. It also needs a stain and sealer to look as good as the hardware.
