- Choose Rattan: Selected rattans from the tropical rainforest in Indonesia, each rattan is fresh and full, with toughness.
- Repairing Rattan: After the rattan is polished by the machine, it will be trimmed and polished again by an experienced master to ensure that the surface is as smooth as possible.
- Nail Shaping: Using stainless steel nails, skilled workers with years of experience shape the rattan into a basket form, cleverly hiding the nails among the vines for a seamless and polished look.
- High Temperature Drying: Lastly, the basket is placed in a specialized drying chamber where each vine is thoroughly dried at a temperature of 120 degrees Celsius.

I used the silicone bannetons and they hold in too much moisture and dough gets a skin pretty quickly in the refrigerator so I purchased these. They’re awesome! Made well, keeps moisture at bay, the loaves no longer produce a skin and the dough doesn’t stick, materials releases from dough very easily and the material is so easy to clean. I won’t ever go back to silicone. Great price and they work perfectly.

This is a nice set however, I find that I don’t really need everything in it. The proofing basket has worked freight for my sourdough bread and I use the bread scorer however, the rest of the items I really don’t use.

I wanted to get into sourdough bread baking. I read how it is more beneficial for the gut than normal breads so I want to give it a go. Because I have never made much bread before I thought I would look for a kit that gives me everything I need but without spending too much $. Besides, who wants to spend $80 on a kit if you're not even sure you're good at it? I am glad I got this one. Better price than others and it gave me everything I needed, i didn't have to search for extra supplies. Thanks

I've had issues with other kits providing baskets that are much too small, but these bannetons are perfect! They're lightweight, but very solid feeling, and have been an incredible boon while learning how to make sourdough bread. Great way to make a beginner feel like a pro!

This basket is well made and strong. The cover fits very well and it comes with a cloth storage bag that has draw strings. Well worth the $.
