I really liked this letter opener. The gold color is nice. The letter opener us good quality and smooth to the touch. I liked that is was a smaller size than the average longer sized opener. It was a nice addition to my desk where all my accessories are gold and white.

Whatever size you imagine it being it's going to be smaller. Extremely flimsy even opening up an envelope at bends and you have to bends it back.At first I thought this was worth the money cuz it was only 10 bucks but you know what it's not even worth five bucks it's worth maybe $1 at the dollar store. Don't waste your time and I would not get this as a gift for somebody that would be a pretty pathetic gift and if you saw it yourself you'd feel bad that you got them a this as gift.Personally I would much rather receive a paperweight as a gift and that just sits there and doesn't do anything.It's just egregiously China-cheap.

Perfect size, clean cut when opening envelopes. Easy to open any letter. Perfect size, it even fits in your pocket. Light weight, obsessing on how sophisticate it looks. Very sturdy, it’s made very well. This is something I will be including in all my house warming gifts. The little bag it comes in did rip from where the pointed edge was at, but that’s the least of it so easy to stitch up if you want to keep the fabric case it came in.

I absolutely LOVE, love, love this letter opener! I am not using it as such, but it is a wonderful help in keeping my stitches flat in my cross stitch projects. It is slender and smooth and it is exactly what I was looking for to improve the quality of my work. It helps that it is a fine looking gold-colored tool!

While this letter opener does the job, it is very dainty. Works fine for me but too small for my husband.
