I almost returned the radio due to poor reception issues. I tried all possible settings but did not help. Then as a last ditch effort, I put the antenna on a old tennis racket type bug zapper/flyswatter. The metel mesh flyswatter business end is a great antenna. Pulls in the stations now. Just make sure your bug zapper flyswatter has the batteries out or that metal mesh part removed. Lol

This radio isn't for everyone. I love the compactness and the features it has and the industrial design. The FM radio is quite giid and it easily fits on my test bench. I use it for hunting down EMI in circuits and industrial environments. Being battery powered it is ideal for that.

Nice little radio. Good audio quality. Sensitive receiver.I do wish there was a manual either included or available for download.

Small and practical Radio.I am not having any problems, the receiver is also very sensitive in FM broadcast band.In decametric bands it has no band pass filters so be careful if you have high intensity radio signals.The price is really very interesting when I bought it, definitely something to try .It can be improved and it's not a perfect radio but it works .Not for people without basic technical experience.

Good audio quality, intuitive controls and sensitive radio.Add an external wire antenna and the reception will increase tremendously.Get a BNC to alligator clip adapter and clip on a metal tape measure and extend it to a quarter wavelength=(300/frequency in megahertz)/4

I'll start by saying I'm a ham radio operator, and have worked professionally with radios. That said this thing is a great value. A similar radio that would do as much would be hundreds of dollars.Pros:- Great battery life, and charges fast!- Was able to hear from southeast US to Europe/Canada with stock antenna during good conditions- Attached a length of small gauge wire (a single strand of untwisted cat5) to the end of the antenna, helped a decent bit- pretty loud for built in speaker- excellent reception overall, attached a proper antenna now and is as good as any other radio.- FM reception and RDS decoding is nice.Cons:- Interface might take getting use to, I found it easy enough, but small if you have poor eyes.- It's not free?Other notes:- There are several excellent firmwares available, just search for pu2clr on github. Almost any complaint you could have is fixed in one of these- Arduino nano is set up so that it can only be powered by the usb C. If you intend to use the data connection to the arduino, use a micro-usb with the 5v wire cut, or get a usb switch that can cut power they are not expensive. Power it only using the build in radio power. If you fail to do this you can damage your radio.- The sky is really the limit, so many things could be done to tweak this radio.In the images I'm using the app ggmorse on a spare android just sitting on the radio decoding morse.
