The head of this grinder is not greasable. After only about 2 hours of use there is terrible gear noise coming from the head of the grinder, and it no longer spins freely. The 1/8" collet does not grip well at all and the work tool will slide in and out while you are operating it. I have had mixed luck with Astro tools, seem to use good designs built at a strict budget and that can result in some quality issues. I would not recommend. There are good reasons why two identical looking tools that license the same design have vastly different price points, and these small grinders make it very obvious.

Depends on what you need it for. Don’t expect to drill out a broken exhaust stud with this. Medium speed, and very low torque = good for wood and plastic. NOT metal

Use this pencil grinder alot building hot rods. A guy I work with bought one on the Snapon truck and paid 3 times as much for the same exact tool. Never been let down by Onyx tools either.

Only issue I have is that the air control is backwards from most other grinders I've used. Will take some getting used to.

This was the only tool I could find small enough to port small displacement 2 stroke cylinders and the exhaust transfer ports without spending thousands on professional porting tools. This thing is awesome, I will say the control is in an annoying location and I have trouble with inadvertently turning up the air pressure.
