I found this at the local farm store for a cheap price and picked it up more as an impulse purchase. I had never had a need for a die grinder before but I quickly found out they are extremely handy to have around. It seemed to have enough power for what I needed it to do. I usually used it with a cutoff wheel and it performed fine as long as you went slow on harder materials. I really liked the ergonomics of this one compared to the ones I usually see in stores. I don't like safeties on triggers because it seems like they just get in the way and make it harder to operate, so I was glad this one had none of that. The little wrenches it comes with are absolutely worthless but that is to be expected. You'll need to use "real" wrenches because the collet has to be extremely tight or your bit will tend to spin as soon as it contacts the work.Over the course of a little over a year I used it maybe 10-15 times, and always oiled it before each use. Then the thing just seemed to give out. Air now gushes out the front and the tool has next to no torque at all. At full speed I can easily grab the collet and stop it. The manual says to spray WD-40 in there to clean it out, which I did, but it did not help at all. I think that might have made it even worse. The warranty is only good for 1 year and I was just over that, so I was stuck. Sure, I could probably disassemble the thing and possibly make some new vanes for it, but I'm just done with this garbage. I purchased an IR brand die grinder for not much more money than this one is going for here on Amazon and it's much better.
