This mailbox is extremely well built, easy to install, and roomy. I used some expanding foam to help keep it set in the ground, and it's as solid and level as the day I installed it. The door and magnetic closure are great design features compared to traditional boxes that end up deforming over time. It's barely shown any signs of wear and tear. The box can easily accommodate smaller sized packages and some medium ones as well.

I've had this for about 1 1/2 years. It was easy to install it is sturdy; however I was concerned about metal-on-metal wear and tear.Last week, I went to check the mail and the door was hanging off. The door is held on with a pin fastened with a cotter pin. One cotter pin had rusted through and the other was rusting. I contacted the manufacturer and was informed that the 5 year warranty "a structure warranty meaning the body of the box" and that the doorpins (and certain other parts) only come with a one year warranty. The doorpins can be purchased for $2 but I don't want to be replacing them every year or two.I also noticed that paint appears to be coming off in a small part where the metal door rubs against the metal box every time the the door is opened/closed. I'm hoping that it won't start to rust.The previous, ugly plastic box that I had was at least 15 years old and still worked fine.This mailbox looks MUCH better, but I don't know if it will last as long.A year ago, I would have told you how happy I was that I had bought it. Now, I could not endorse it as enthusiastically.

This mailbox is great! I’m really happy with the purchase. The box itself is large and the post is also metal which I prefer. I put it together myself in less then 30 minutes. Used the “quick post” mix from Lowe’s for mounting the post into the ground. Recommend this!

Save your money and effort and buy another mailbox. Though it is a nice looking item, it will fall apart immediately. I have only had it for a few months and the screws that keep the door attached have both disintegrated. Very disappointed in this purchase based on price of the item and the fact that it is now installed and will be hard to replace. For the money I spent on this, I do not expect to have had to go to hardware store twice now for replacement items to fix the door.

Mailbox is solid. A little smaller than expected the photos make it appear larger. Nice and wide opening, the depth could be larger.Easy to follow instructions. It is a bit to install setting in concrete etc. The only cheap part of the mailbox is the plastic base that goes over the post. The screws provided barely thread through to connect them, after a strong wind storm this will rip off.We will see how long it lasts.
