Almost an exact replacement for the broken one in my fan. Easy to wire as all the wires matched. Worked perfectly.

Easy to install if you’re comfortable with electrical connections and basic wiring work. Instead of replacing a ceiling fan, for under $25 it was fixed in under an hour. Switch off the power at the breaker panel, double check with a voltage tester and swap it out. This worked and fit perfectly in a Home Decorators Collection fan from HD.

I have two models of the same fan in my house, both with remotes that have failed (original remote is the narrow stacked-button picture). I tried this one to see if I could salvage the fan, as it had no other means for controlling speed or lights aside from a remote.Installation was not particularly easy. I had to guess at a few things, but after studying how the original was installed, I was able to make sense of this one. There are wiring diagrams online that helped me figure out which wires to splice together as well. Additionally, the control unit that goes into the fan housing is considerably larger than the OEM unit, so getting it cleanly into the housing was difficult, but not impossible. Once everything was installed though, the controller works great. It has decent range and responds immediately. Holding down the light button allows me to adjust the light-temp, as I was able to do with the previous remote. It's hard to get it "exact", but that was the case with the OEM as well.Overall, I prefer this one to the OEM, even when OEM was working properly. This unit's buttons have a cleaner feel to them, this unit uses triple-a batteries where the OEM uses an uncommon sized battery that is not typically sold in your average grocery store. And these ones have already outlasted the OEM remotes I had to replace.

The batteries leaked in the GA009 remote for our Parrot Uncle outdoor ceiling fan, damaging the circuit board beyond repair. The remote included in the Anderic kit is an exact replacement. All I had to do was match the positions of the DIP switches. The kit came with the receiver, which I did not use.

Our new Livingroom ceiling fan didn’t come with a remote control so we thought we would give the Anderic Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit a try. Although it is a pain to have to take the fan down to install the remote it was fairly easy to install. The large size of the remote receiver made it more difficult to stuff into the ceiling fan wiring fixture. The remote itself worked great and was nearly instant on/off on the light fixture, the fan was a little slower to start but not really bad at all. We are pleased with the Anderic Universal Ceiling Fan Remote Control Kit.
