HOW to Use and Install
1.Setting the same matches dip switch on the transmitter and receiver:
16 different frequencies that can be set for the receiver and the transmitter. The default settings is 0000, and it is not recommended. The remote control uses a 9V battery but is NOT included in the pakage.
2.Installing receiver in ceiling fan
The receiver wires are labelled, and the wires all have the correct color codes.Connect the ceiling fan and light according to the wiring label of the receiver.
3.Install remote control battery ,and you can use
The remote control uses a 9V battery .but is NOT included in the pakage.
Suitable for the Ceiling Fans with Pull Cord Switch and Wall Switch
Please Note that this ceiling fan remote not have the Reverse Button, but it suitable for the ceiling fans which with reverse switch. It works well with the fans in the reverse state.

Easy installation. This was a replacement unit for a 10 year old fan remote control in a Westinghouse fan. Wire color coding same as the old unit. Fan & light control works well. Clear instructions should you need a little help. It is nearly the same size as the old unit so it fit with no modifications. The light control seems to require the light button to be double clicked to turn the light off. One thing we do notice is that the solenoid / relay is quite noisy in comparison to the old unit which produced no noise when activating, changing fan speeds or turning it off. This new one makes an audible CLICK. Although this unit is in our bedroom fan we generally don’t change the fan setting during the night so the noise issue is immaterial. Just happy to find a replacement control / remote rather than having to buy & install a new fan unit.

2 of my Kichler fans had the remote sensor short out while electrical work was being done on my panel. I ordered these and hoped for the best. I’m delighted to report they both worked perfectly. The kit I received had the sensor and a preprogrammed remote control. I’m very pleased.

Although old control had hot/neutral input and only two hots for output (blue-Light yellow- Fan), this one had same inputs but added the neutral for outputs, Just got rid of neutral from house wiring going to fan motor as old controller needed it and re-wired neutral to go through the controller. Gonna need an A23 12volt battery for the remote, does not come with one. Worked perfectly controlling led candelabra bulbs, may buy another to replace Harbor Breeze controller in another room that makes LED bulbs flicker.

This unit was very easy to install. I had installed on a Harbor Breeze fan however, after just two hours, the remote stopped working with the control unit.I made sure the control unit was still getting powered with voltage detector, which it was so I made the assumption that the control unit failed as it worked when initially installed.**Note that the remote does not come with battery and requires a special size (A23)

Worked fine and then stopped working. Unfortunately two days after return window. The seller stepped up and reached out to me to offer a replacement free of charge in which they did in a timely fashion.The new replacement is working great!
