I own both, Ameda electric pump and manual hand pump. If i haven’t tried other electric and manual pumps like medela i wouldn’t be able to tell how average this pump is! It doesnt only give you hand pain but also the green part of the pump keeps slipping off and is so annoying to use.

Every breastfeeding parent should have a manual pump. This is not only perfect for quick use at night to relieve engorgement when I full pump session is not needed, a few hours out of the house where an electric pump can’t be used, and especially in case of lost electricity. I like how I can manually stimulate milk flow and give the perfect pressure and tempo for expression. High recommend
