This is the second glove my son purchased. The first one lasted for 3 years of high school varsity baseball and 2 years of college baseball. He finally needed a replacement. Long wearing glove if you take care of it!

This is a true catchers glove. After it was broken in it has worked like a charm 150 innings pitched no problem and his had has not been hurt.

Had trouble breaking in the mitt, I have small hands and the mitt didn't want to pocket where I WANTED the pocket. So after some weeks of fruitless effort, (and a call to AllStar to ensure I hadn't received a counterfeit unit) I gave up and accepted the location where the mitt wanted to pocket. Karma, right? Since then, with a little change to my catching style the mitt is very good at what it does, though a tad more expensive than its' peers.

Our son is a college athlete who would not want to use anything but this mitt. This is his second in his college career, and was purchased as a back up should the first one fail. Break-in is relatively fast, especially considering the great pad positioning. Allows for maximum comfort and control.

very durable, great break in. If you don't use it for winter bull pen and keep it as your game glove only, it should give you several hundred games of 80+ MPH pitching.

The catcher mitt is a really good quality one. Actually, it's my second all star glove and this glove goes really well. The only bad point is that it take a long time to ''break'' the mitt... but once it's done, the glove is really perfect
